47th Annual Crops & Conservation Tour

You’re invited to participate in a half-day bus tour of selected sites in Union County to learn about agricultural production, research and conservation efforts in the area. The tour also gives you a chance to interact with many local growers and ranchers. Note: a detailed agenda will be available the day of the tour.

The day starts with a short program at Nutrien (7:30 a.m.) followed immediately with the bus tour. Periodically along the tour route, participants will unload & reload the buses at various stops which may include areas with difficult terrain. The traditional lunch consisting of steak, baked potato, and salad will be served to tour participants at approx. noon at the White Barn Estate. Local 4-H Ambassadors and FFA members will be on hand throughout the day to help out. After lunch, bus passengers will be returned to Nutrien at approx. 2:00 p.m.

Accommodations for participants with physical disabilities can be arranged by contacting Shelby Benson, OSU Extension Service Union County, at 541-963-1010 by June 2nd.
